Process Flow Introduction:
Self-hardening sand production process, should be based on the foundry layout, process nature and production program requirements, the development of appropriate programs. Generally, it is mainly composed of old sand recovery, old sand crushing and regeneration, old sand magnetic separation, old sand screening, old sand winnishing, temperature regulation, new sand system,(new) old sand storage, sand mixing, modeling, core making, environmental protection dust removal, electric control system and other equipment.
1. Old sand recovery: The old sand and scattered sand are separated from the castings, sand boxes and old sand by a sand dropping machine, and then transported to the sand block warehouse for storage by conveying equipment (such as vibrating conveyor, belt conveyor, bucket elevator, etc.). In the meantime, the magnetic substances in the old sand can be removed by suspending the permanent magnet separator, the permanent magnet belt head wheel, the magnetic separation drum and other magnetic separation equipment.
2. Crushing and regeneration of used sand: The sand blocks in the sand block warehouse are uniformly and quantitatively fed to the crusher by the vibrating feeder. After being crushed and screened (with pre-stripping regeneration function), they are stripped and regenerated in roaster and regeneration machine (eddy current centrifugal regeneration machine, strong rubbing regeneration machine, pneumatic impact regeneration machine, etc.) in turn (they can be combined according to process requirements to achieve the required stripping rate). And then through the conveying equipment (such as bucket elevator, pneumatic conveying equipment, etc.) to the hot sand storage. In the meantime, magnetic substances in the old sand can be removed by magnetic separation equipment, and dust removal and preliminary cooling can be carried out through dust removal pipeline.
3. winnowing and temperature regulation of used sand: the hot used sand containing micropowder is evenly distributed by a flow curtain distributor, and after multi-stage winnowing by the winnowing distributor, the micropowder is removed, enters the sand temperature regulator, and exchanges heat with the sand temperature regulator. The used sand reaching the temperature required by the process is transported to the used sand storage warehouse for storage through transportation equipment (such as bucket elevator, pneumatic transportation equipment, etc.). The cooling medium used by the sand temperature regulator can be natural air, cooling air, natural water, cooling water, etc. (can be combined according to the process requirements to achieve the required sand temperature).
4, new sand system: new sand wet new sand can be used three return new sand drying system after drying through the conveying equipment (such as bucket elevator, pneumatic conveying equipment, etc.) to the new sand storage warehouse storage standby.
- Sand mixing, molding and core making: After the new and old sand is proportioned, the qualified molding sand is mixed by the self-hardening sand mixer according to the process requirements, then filled into the sand box or core box, and moved to the box-closing section for pouring after hardening, mold lifting, modification, coating and surface drying. After pouring, the casting is cooled to the temperature required by the process for sand drop, and then the old sand is recycled.
