Usage Introduction


Activated carbon waste gas deodorization equipment is used in the treatment of organic waste gas with large air volume and low concentration. It can deal with benzene, ketones, alcohols, ethers, alkanes and their mixed organic waste gas. It is mainly used for chemical industry, machinery, electronics, electrical appliances, painting, shoemaking, rubber, plastics, printing and purification of harmful waste gas generated by various industrial production workshops.

adsorption process: due to the existence of unbalanced and unsaturated molecular attraction or chemical bond force on the solid surface, when the solid surface is in contact with the gas, the gas molecules can be attracted to concentrate and remain on the solid surface. This phenomenon is called adsorption. Using the adsorption capacity of the solid surface, the exhaust gas is in contact with the porous solid material on the large surface, and the pollutants in the exhaust gas are adsorbed on the solid surface to separate it from the gas mixture to achieve the purpose of purification. Its essence is a process of adsorption and concentration. The organic solvent is not disposed of, it is a physical process, and the subsequent catalytic combustion desorption or steam desorption regeneration device is selected according to the different components of the exhaust gas.
Catalytic combustion desorption: the hot air of catalytic combustion is used to heat the adsorbed organic solvent in the activated carbon to reach the boiling point of the solvent, so that the organic solvent is desorbed from the activated carbon, and the high concentration of exhaust gas is introduced into the catalytic combustion reactor. At the catalytic light-off temperature, the oxidation reaction is carried out by the action of the catalyst to convert harmless water and carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. It is a chemical reaction process. It is not an open flame combustion, and can completely solve the secondary pollution during desorption.
Desorption regeneration process: steam is sprayed from the bottom of the tower to evaporate the solvent adsorbed in the activated carbon, then condensed into liquid through a condenser, enters a separation cylinder, separates and recovers the organic solvent, and the residual liquid enters an aeration cylinder and is discharged after aeration. It is a physical process that can recover the solvent and save costs.
Activated carbon adsorption-catalytic combustion desorption is an effective combination of the advantages of the above adsorption and catalytic combustion desorption. That is, the first use of activated carbon for adsorption and concentration, when the activated carbon adsorption is saturated, the use of electric heating to start the catalytic combustion equipment, and the use of hot air local heating activated carbon adsorption bed, when the catalytic combustion reaction bed is heated to ~ 250 ℃, activated carbon adsorption bed local reached 60~110 ℃, from the adsorption bed desorption of high-concentration exhaust gas can be oxidation reaction in the catalytic reaction bed. The temperature of the desorbed exhaust gas is rapidly increased after heat exchange by the heat exchanger. This enables the catalytic combustion device and desorption to achieve low power or no power operation.
